By creating an account or using ScholarSorted, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What ScholarSorted is
ScholarSorted is an organizer for tracking scholarships, deadlines, and the steps that unlock financial aid. We are not a scholarship provider, a lender, a college, or a financial or college admissions advisor, and we don't guarantee that you will win any award.
Deadlines and the starter list
We work to keep starter list details accurate and show the date each one was last verified, but scholarship providers change amounts, rules, and deadlines without notice. Always confirm details on the provider's official site before you apply. We are not responsible for a missed deadline or award, including if a reminder email is delayed or not delivered.
Your account
- You must be a parent or guardian, or a student 13 or older.
- Keep access to your email secure, since it is how you sign in.
- You are responsible for what you add to your board. You keep ownership of it.
Plans and payment
- The free plan tracks up to 10 scholarships.
- Premium costs $49 for one school year (through July 31 of the school year you buy it for), paid once through Stripe. It does not renew automatically.
- Refunds: if Premium isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
- We may change prices for future purchases. A change won't affect a school year you already paid for.
Fair use
Don't try to access other families' data, disrupt the service, scrape it, or use it for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
Ending your account
You can stop using ScholarSorted and ask us to delete your account anytime (see our Privacy Policy). We may close accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your list.
No warranty and limit of liability
ScholarSorted is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will note the date above. Meaningful changes will be emailed to account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA.
